Things go from bad to worse, when technical difficulties have fatal repercussions. All I've got with me is a modified shock pistol, soaked MAG, and a flimsy plan forming in my head.
...not to mention hundreds of plant thingies gunning for me. But I try not to think about the numbers, it causes head hurt, and I certainly didn't need that!

I have played the game, a little, and if I recall, the first weapon, your default one, has unlimited ammo...but I think the other ones you get have limited amounts.
What? My little beauty? Ha! The cell in this thing is part of the "breeder" collection of cells. If I recall, uses electromagnetic waves to power itself, absorbing them. In a way, since it's a shock pistol, it also discharges useable power. So in a way, kind of unlimited, as you it can suck in the power after an initial discharge of energy and absorbs it in the cell for another shot. I can get a couple shots out of this thing and it takes a few seconds for a shot to recover.
Unlike most people with guns, I don't fire off half my magazine from behind cover So waiting for a recharge with a few more shots left is usually how I go about it in a fire fight...usually...
