This guy comes to all of the local anime cons in the DFW area, and he is spot on Chef (down to the voice). I loved getting a picture with him! I feel like I made a Cameo in South Park.

I am 5ft. haha. I am 7" than Comic book version of Rocket and exactly twice the movie height.

OH i know.. I"ve talked to crystumes If I could afford it.. I'd do it. nothing simple stilts could fix Specially since his legs were jointed to where he lumbers, and stilts would help that lumbering gait.

I have been looking at HurleyFX's process with it, and talking with him on Facebook. If you are interested in doing Groot, you might look into it. It is the best Groot I have seen so far.

It sadly boils down to one thing right now: $$$ Otherwise I'd love too. I'm currently in a disability battle, and if it goes through. then that shouldn't be a problem. Also: I'm stuck in Arkansas, and welllllllllllllllllllll.... Being in the middle of no where doesn't help with getting to cons...
