As I've said before, Tony and Byron grew up together, best friends and brothers through and through. They don't let a small detail like technically not being related stop them from using that word to describe one another.
Of course being brothers, they also like to have fun with each other. Tony in particular loves to pull 'pranks' on his lion friend, knowing full well that Byron loves a good joke as much as he (Byron's usually in on said joke on himself anyway). Especially if said 'prank' involves tickling (Again, usually Byron's the so-called victim).
So it seems that Byron is 'trapped' in the sand, and Tony just so happened to decide to take advantage of his being 'stuck' to tickle his best bro senseless. And Byron's loving every moment.
Tickle tickle tickle, Byron! Now to use these on your toes!
