This didn't turn out exactly as great as I had wanted it to but here's MiniNova doing something a kid his age would do. I really wanted to drive home the point that he's only 8 and I couldn't think of a better way than to show him kicking his feet in the water while sitting and resting on a riverbank. I mean, really, who among us, especially boys, didn't do this as a kid? I know I would when I went to the river with my dad. I couldn't swim but I could safely sit on the bank and splash around by putting my feet in the water.

Anyway, I think Mini is too tall or disproportioned in this but what do you think? Does anyone have any critique or suggestions to make this better than this? I'm open to hearing what you have to say.
