Cassandra is know for gnawing on things. A quirk she has that's become much more noticeable recently. During her idle musings to herself, long reading sessions she can be seen chewing on something. A pen, another book, a finger, anything really.

Though Ludash, her brother, would know of her habits all to well. The pair shared a bed early in their life and feel comfortable sleeping along side each other, and as Cassandra's gnawing habits developed, Ludash would find an ear, an arm, a shoulder or his neck between her teeth.

No harm has ever come of it, so Ludash just lets her go about her idle nibbling throughout their sleep. This night, however, is different.

It's Cassandra's birthday and her father had been nice enough to let her drink alcohol. The night was long and full of smiles and laughter, and once all the guests had taken their leave, little Ludash helped his sister back down into bed where she flopped in tipsy exhaustion, almost seeming to immediately pass out. A sound night sleep for the both of them.

But once Ludash had sunken himself into bed, the body beside him shifted suddenly, her teeth latching onto his pompom, gnawing and suckling on it with intense enthusiasm. The moogle peering over his shoulder, observing his sister actively tending to his pompom in her sleep. It was clear his pompom was targeted, but was just as clear she was dead asleep.

Maybe just one of them is going to sleep soundly tonight.

It was  Taigon's birthday on the 4th, and I offered to draw a birthday gift. I figured this was a good enough point to try colouring again using some methods and what not that a few friends had told me. I love how the colours turned out, just wish I had drawn Ludash and Cassandra a little better. Far from what I'm capable of.
