hmm... cactus is always harder to get past seedling. what climate zone? which species did you end up going with. also sorry for your loss of cacti. ive lost them 147 times trying to grow from seed and went with cuttings instead. they do great in greenhouses. even the cheap plastic sheet over a tent kind lol.they love to take over too. like ivy.
