I think this was probably why the tip kept sinking in...

if you really cant push it back into place properly (it's actually fitted so if you moved it around it might not snap into place, but obviously dont push too hard)
alternatively you could glue it back into place, but realize that would require you never plan to need to pull the pen apart ever again, haha...

ACTUALLY REAL SUGGESTION:
take the back part off, being careful not to move the circuitboard (don't ever remove the circuitboard unless the buttons in the grip are removed first) and glue the crack back together on its own
i suggest using superglue but always be super careful using superglue, and let it dry completely before putting it back on the pen. also apply pressure to push the crack back together tight (but mind your fingers! superglue feels AWFUL)
keep in mind: if the eraser cover falls off it contains two VERY SMALL springs. make sure to keep track of those if they come out too.

A) SO MUCH BETTER! Like, you can just make a sketch layer and delete it. As opposed to using paper, when you sketch out a base and ink it out, you can't completely get rid of pencil marks :[ Plus if you mess up something and you don't want to redraw it, you can just use the selection tool to re-ajust your sketch!
B) I own a Cintiq 22HD, one of the more expensive tablets that's around $2,000 @_@ If you've inherited money from a family member, you can invest in one. Or you can get a job, I knew one animator that bought his first cintiq when he was 15. The cheaper tablets are around $80, they're called Bamboo tablets. Great for beginners! Or the Intous tablet, a larger, more expensive version of the bamboo. You can check out all of their products here http://www.wacom.com/en/us/
If that's too pricey, you can go with the alternative Yiynova tablets, which have really great reviews! Not to mention they're wayyyyy cheaper (around $500?)! http://www.yiynova.com/En/products.php?Clsid=1&fid=1 Their website is terrible, I believe that they sell their products on Amazon.
C) You can buy bamboo tablets in local Apple stores sometimes c:
D) Note me c:> I know some places that you can download some art programs.
