Finally finishing up some long-owed art trades. This is for 
quaggy
It's of her characters Toa/Taa, which is an enigmatic creature that can switch genders (which have their own different personalities) and of Alaska, her possum/lionfish.
Note: The title "East and West" comes from the fact that Toa/Taa has an Oriental influence to it's design (which is the East) and Alaska... well which is also a state in the US, which is in the West.
Also I couldn't think of a better title. XP
It was insanely fun to draw these characters and I decided to pick up some watercolors (which I hadn't used for an incredibly long time) and use those.
Note: Originally the background was going to be more of an aged, antiquey looking background, but that did not last long.

Your are fantastic. I love how well Alaska and Taoakh seem to fit together here, with their colours and size differences, haha! Taoakh looks so elegant and handsome and gorgeous all at once, and Alaska is way too cute for words. I love the way Taoakh's paws are done, and I adore his head and tail, and Alaska's eyes, ears, and stripes all look really excellent. And the citrus background! <3 Cirtus is the best kind of anything. Looove this, seriously. ;; You're awesome.
I promise I'll be getting around to my half soon - I'm still even having trouble deciding which characters I want to draw!

I'll admit... I had a little trouble choosing which ones to do. I think I narrowed it down to three... that being Taoakh, Alaska, and Lionel... and Lionel was really tempting to do as well.
