I know , I know , Some folks are tired of seeing the Ice Bucket challenge but you know what…I don’t care. I was challenged to it and I did it. Glad I could do something for the cause…Whats the Cause? To raise awareness for ALS.
ALS ( Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis ) also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease is a fatal disease that attacks the nervous system. I want to do my part in raising awareness , Donate and challenge some friends of mine to do the same.

The fact he is putting up info and spreading awareness is also a big factor. If you want to look at it in that light, the ice bucket challenge is just entirely stupid, you should donate and not make a spectacle. Daigo actually threw up info and all about ALS instead of 'Here is a pic of my character in a wet shirt.'
The whole point of the ice bucket challenge was to CREATE a spectacle and a viral campaign to raise awareness as it was created by an ALS sufferer who wanted his family and friends to know what it was like and then decided to useviral videos to help spread awareness all over the world rather than just people in his town...

Actually I think that was 
karaken's point, that if you look at it with the disposition "There is no dump ice and donate nothing", then you should just donate. But since dumping ice creates a spectacle, it makes people aware that there's a common theme. They then find out what that theme was, and then are made aware of the issue and to raise funds, as well as spread the awareness.

Well actually if you read the rules you either have t o donate $100 or film you drenching yourself in ice water to experience the pain and numbness the victims of the disease feel. However now it's become popular to donate and still do the icebucket challenge to spread awareness even further. Besides Daigo actually linked to the foundation unlike most artists I've seen doing it who are bascally just using the fad to draw wet boobs.
