Its either there or in the fender stock. Yes, i have a hood scoop. next week ill have a front mount.

OEM engineers. Why is this a problem? works fine for stock cars. My audi is this way. http://i840.photobucket.com/albums/.....a4avant4-1.jpg This is the 2.7T i think but the 1.8t intercooler position is the same.

My point is that the company probably spent a million dollars paying the engineers to design it to fit in the fender instead of more logically putting it in a simpler location that has been used for decades in other turboed cars
