Nostalgia (2008 revised version)
I don't just do trance music alone. I always wanted to give a try at writing piano music, so in 2004, I wrote this song.
The original version is a bit bad, though, because back then, I was still in a strong trance-y mood, so the song was written in a very strict natural minor, the key which most trance music were written in, rather than harmonic minor, the most used key of all known music in the world. As a result, the chord progression in 2:20 was back then quite wrong and awkward: D#min-G#min, rather than the better-sounding D#maj-G#min. So I decided to change that.
Actually, I've already "corrected" this song back in February 2008, but I forgot to upload it. x_x
I might start making more piano music, too, if I have more inspirations to do it.

I'd rather not let this song be remixed, sorry. x_x I have written it as a piano music, and therefore, it was meant as a piano music and be remained that way, plain and simple.
Though, you may be free to remix my other songs, which are in the trance music genre. Most trance musicians allow their songs be remixed, provided with permission.

From the first second I started to listen to this, I knew it was something I was going to like, and just moved my hands away controls.
The music is solid and bit dark, like listening to a lost passion, a bit of sorrow, while a faint memory of joy hangs on. Even with that, the music is also smooth, pulling you along with gently. Nothing abrupt, over powering, or anything that would take away from the piece itself.
This was a wonderful song to listen to, I really hope you do produce more solo piano pieces in the future.
