My slowly growing pile of stardragon aderps. Some of these were customs and others were bought as resells. To the left is Sherry, a mercenaric diva of a starshooter. Center is Ryll, a blind drunkard of a stardasher. Together...they don't really fight crime so much as get drunk and make poor decisions. To the right is Coraline, who pretty much keeps Ryl in check as well as mentors him.
Second Row is Meribeth who is the nanny to Lizabelle on the right.

I am guessing it would be the opposite of "sergals" which were created and the artist allows anyone to do what they want with them, a closed race would mean you'd have to get permission to sell artwork specifically using "stardasher" characters. The actual legality of that is murky at best but that is an argument left for another time.
I am totally a harlot for stardragons. RAIN THEM UPON ME.

As for the eyes, usually it's up to the person to decide if they want four eyes or two eyes/two gems. Ryl would have had two eyes/two gems had he not lost em all. As for the orb between the antlers, the folks who made the race made a handy little species guide for it all: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14293378/ though long-story short its a magic holding gem.

It's been a lot of fun coming up with personality and style for them all. It helps that the setting you guys have made for the race is a really neat one to work ideas around in. That and ohmygoodness I find the races hilariously fun to draw. XD
