I'm glad it was. =) I read everything. ;) Or, almost everything. Don't test that though. I'd hate to miss out on something that was intended for me, and I missed it.
The character is amazing, and I really liked her appearance from the start, but reading a bit about your modifications and back story said plenty. Take your time on her story. It will come!

Not everyone has to comment, watch, or fav work. But, it's all a part of showing the artist support. If they like the image, they can just save the file and keep moving without spreading it.
