Recently I played through Disney Interactive's DS game "Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals" again, and it was super fun! Spectrobes is a somewhat Pokemon-like game, except it is futuristic - so think spaceships, lasers, aliens, and whatnot.

My main Spectrobe I played through again was Senkro. Not only is Senkro an anthropomorphic bird, which is awesome in itself, but it and its relatives (Tenkro and Gekikro) are based on tengu, which are my favorite Japanese mythical creatures. Parodying one of the tengu characters in my favorite anime, Tactics, I named my Senkro Chikai, meaning "vow." (Originally it was meant to mean "near," the opposite of Haruka "far".) So here's my awesome Chikai. :3
