Well you did kinda put it in the corner surrounded by a solid pink color, even in paint it could be removed by just filling in the corner with the pink color.

Watermark/trademark symbols are a bit of a trade-off. You can put them in an area of low detail and leave the art mostly untouched, but then they are trivial to remove. On the other hand, you can put them in a high detail area, making them much harder to get rid of but simultaneously more obnoxious.

Of course, sometimes even the most obtrusive marks are still quite easy to remove

There're some innocuous reasons, like wanting to use something for a wallpaper without visually unappealing watermarks. Then you have people that want to steal artwork and simply cut out the trademark, hoping that people won't notice.

I had to stop the Leafbiters, still living at home, I wasn't the one doing the cooking so the one who did was always having trouble with it since I was the only one to do it.
