Okay furs! A few have been asking if it would be okay to bring beer or alcohol of another form to the meets (and one asked if another substance could be used) and the answer is NO.

We are trying to keep the meet a safe place for furs to come together and have a good time outside of drinking or substance use. Not everyone is comfortable with one or both. What you guys do on your own time is your biz and I really don't care either way what you do outside the meet.

But at the meet, DO NOT bring alcohol, we ask that if you MUST smoke cigarettes to do it away from the pavilion to prevent allergies or other negative reactions, and PLEASE DO NOT use substances (any substances) that are illegal at the park.

We are trying to maintain the good image of furry and if one of you is caught smoking or using something illegal that looks bad for all of us and could get all of us in trouble. It will also negate all of the work we have done through the 13 meets to get our good names out there. That's over a year of work that could be ruined.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not tarnish the integrity of the group and the people in it. Again, what you guys do on your own time is your biz, but when at a meet and at the park or even with a group of us in public somewhere, you are on everyone's time and what you do can and will reflect on all of us.

It has been agreed among the admins that the person/people breaking the rules for the alcohol (because we do have minors) and the substance use will be immediately banned until further notice. We are serious about keeping our furs safe and happy.
