The steps behind my mixed media Mercedes McLaren SLR piece...

1. the sketch, done with 4H pencil on copy-paper
2. flat colors
3. grille, wheels and shading of the lights and the windows added
4. shading of the lacquer
5. lights and coloring of the sketch-lines done
6. light points, details and accents painted on, also fixed some other small details.
7. added two more color layers to make give the whole a mood of reflecting colors around the car.
