With the FBA season starting to get rolling, General Managers have been scurrying to ensure that their staffing is filled. And this season, the FBA's Winnipeg Voyageurs were seeking out some new blood on their staff as well. Their favourite interviewee for the head coach position was a spunky South African woman.

Esmee Farai. Age: 39. Species: Common Eland. Formerly a star in the EFBL, playing for Croatia and Germany before coming to shine in Amsterdam wearing the orange and blue. She played in the EFBL for fifteen years before deciding to retire, but she was immediately hired on by Amsterdam to work as their assistant coach, later becoming their head coach.

But when she read about an FBA team seeking a new head coach, she didn't hesitate to apply. Even at 39, she's forever seeking excitement and new experiences. But right now, she's ready and rearing to get into this new FBA season as the new head coach of the Winnipeg Voyageurs.
