Ugh, don't remond me. People are still hyping that up as though it were a victory for casual players everywhere and a big middle finger to Smogon. Smogon Singles and VGC Doubles are two entirely different metagames. Smogon tiers and restrictions don't apply. Secondly, Se Jun himself stated in an interview that he used Pachirisu for no other reason than that he knew everyone would be expecting Amoongus, so he used Pachirisu to fill a similar support role. It certainly wasn't out of love for the Pokémon and it certainly wasn't his favorite. All of the Se Jun imitators are way in over their heads. Nobody could ever hope to use an otherwise inviable Pokémon like Pachirisu as well as he can. He knows the game in and out, possibly better than the game developers do. Se Jun is the definition of a Pokémon Master.
