Actually you could have been more anatomically annoying by mentioning how impractical all those tails would be in daily life. How does she not slam them in doors or sit in a regular chair? Get in a car? Wash each one in the shower? It'd take forever! They'd always be in the way.
The picture is wonderful don't get me wrong but when I was a three-tailed kitsune as my fursona I was always bothered by the above explanation. What do you do with all of those tails? People would ask. I never really had a good answer. Now I'm a skunk/magic fox (aka kitsune) hybrid with a single skunk tail.
And a side note in regards to the feathers being only on male: I think her tails are just patterned like peacock feathers. Like so many furries have interesting patterns on their fur this one has peacock feather pattern on her tails.
