Oh i understand that, just curious as ive see a lot of avian sonas out there including mine where the Eye lvl is slight higher then the beak, and Not flush with it. If you understand my meaning.

Technically the eye holes by the beak are for your eyes. The resin eyes that look like the birds eyes are higher up. Unless you're referring to something else?

Yeah because I don't understand what you're getting at. The gryphon's eyes will sit below the eye ridges, which is normal for most anthro's.

im still hoping for soft billed birds crow shaped bills or finch beaks <3 its more uncommon to make into a blank that raptor ones the small might be something id invest in in the future!
