While I was in hospital and then recovering from my surgery, I managed to finish off this crochet blanket for my daughter's first birthday. I know it's not furry, but I'm really proud of it and want to share anyway ^-^

That looks really good! I always have trouble with crochet squares for some reason -- at least with the classic ones with blocks of trebles (treble 3, chain 3).

thank you ^-^ i don't find those ones too bad - just gotta retain tension. have you tried only doing a single chain between the trebles?

If I do just one chain, then I don't have enough space to fit six trebles into the space. Doesn't seem to matter whether I have one, two or three; I alway end up having it pucker up. It's annoying.
