A friend showed me a picture of Gruncle Stan's model sheet for an episode of "Gravity Falls" and it showed how they do the lighting effects on the character. It was actually very similar to what I do, but they cut out the highlights and use different layer options. So I tried that extra step they do and I like how it turned out, Julie pops a bit more. I did this to just try it out so its a pretty fast pic.
