Big news this year is that it rained Monday morning at Burning Man. I woke up to the sound of rain and people shouting, lot's of indoor only rated electrical gear was outdoors. The thunder was epically loud as a lot of the lightening hits were quite close, plus there is very little to absorb the sound out there. For the first time I can ever recall the black rock radio went off air for several hours.

The playa got very slippery then after it dried out a little bit got very sticky. Once the lightening stopped I went running around in bare feet, I was having a great time, others stuck out in the line trying to get in, not so much. The entry was closed for 19 hours.

Things dried out quickly and by that evening it was hard to tell it had rained at at all.
