The start of the week, with all the stress and boredom it brings. Makes me feel like drawing guns. Speaking of which, it's still more acceptable to draw guns in front of everyone than it is to draw furries. So yeah, good job being backwards again, society. To make things even better I got to draw the last one during an hour long lecture about how animal experimentation is an "ethical" thing to do, as well as anything in the name of "science". Gee wizz, I sure do love having lies shoved through my ears all day.

I have fired both a M240B and an M2. Your standard 240 is roughly 28lbs, which means attempting close quarters combat with a bayonet would combat ineffective. The enemy could out maneuver you and take you out. LMGs are also crew served weapons any you would have a assistant gunner that watches your six and helps feed the belt into the chamber to prevent jams. As you could see, firing SAWs or LMGs are a 2 person job and are quite heavy to move around on the battlefield. Also, if you let the enemy get that close with a weapon like that, you need to retrain when you get to heaven, because god doesn't like his final protective line breached.
Wow, information from a professional! It's not often I actually hear this kinda information, since I can't watch the military channel any more, and video games (even Arma) are a laughing matter when it comes to realism. Thanks for the info., I didn't know a lot of this stuff.
