“Ugh... my head...” I mumbled, waking from the slumber that I had been in. I slowly sat up, not coming to grips with what happened yet. I began looking around, quickly noticing that I was not in my home. In fact, I was in a place that didn't even seem close. It was some forest that I didn't recognize. Not only that, it was Winter where I lived, and here it was clearly a warmer season.
It didn't occur to me to look down for a bit, but I finally did, and let's just say I was not normal, far from it in fact. I was actually a Pichu! But Pokemon weren't supposed to exist... so how the heck was I a Pichu!? Needless to say, my first thought was to panic, but I also figured that doing that would attract a predator. Too bad for me that one already had me in its sights. I tried to get up, but not used to my new form, I fell back down after trying. The thing that was watching me used this as a chance to strike. Before I realized what was happening, I was attacked by a black figure, and it freaking hurt! When light shined on the black figure, it was revealed to be a Pidgeot. I tried to get back up and run, but for some odd reason, my new body did not come with instincts, so I fell back to the ground. I just looked up at it in fear... though it was then that two other Pokemon came and rescued my butt. A Flamethrower came from the side, causing the bird Pokemon to hop back, only to be caught off guard by a Thunderbolt.
That took it down in a single blow and left me rather amazed. Shortly after, the two who rescued me came out. One of them was a female Pikachu; she had brown hair, which was both long and bound up at the top, she was also wearing a gray undershirt, which was slightly bound at the bottom and on the back, as well as some kind of brown jacket like clothing on top of it, buttoned up by golden buttons; she also had gray-blue eyes. The Victini on the other hand had some longer fur coming off the V formed on his forehead which resembled hair. His shirt was white white and covered up partially by a long, as well as a darker brown, jacket. He also had some kind of steam-punk like device on his left arm and his eyes were a orange color. And just from a glance, the Pikachu seemed slightly anthropomorphic as well.
“Are you alright kid?” The Victini asked, reaching his paw out to me.
“Yeah, I'm fine... And I'm not a kid,” I told him, taking his paw a he helped me up.
“Ah, well it's just a mass majority of Pichu are children,” He said. “That, and the fact you weren't able to fight of the Pidgeot didn't help us identify you either,” He also said with a chuckle.
“Yeah... about that, I was actually human,” I told them.
They looked at me skeptically, but then then the Victini said “Well that could explain how you aren't a kid and why you couldn't defend yourself. Humans being transported here and turned into Pokemon isn't an unheard of occurrence. Rare, just not unheard of,” He said.
The Pikachu spoke up. “I also find it strange that you are here with some sort of clothing. Most humans don't end up with clothing right of the bat.” She added.
The two took me over to a nearby lake and showed me my reflection in the water to help me get a better look at my self. I was indeed a Pichu, but I had this green jacket on, along with a knit cap like the one Dawn wears, but with a blue Poke Ball symbol instead of a pink on. I also had this weird lime green oval on my stomach. It seemed like it was supposed to be glowing, but wasn't. My chest fur, tail, and outer ear color was orange, the same color orange that a Victini would have on it's ears, and my tail had 3 “spikes” at the end. And now that I had gotten my barings, I realized I was fairly short. I know Pichu are usually smaller than Pikachu and Victini, but my ears only reach up to the bottom of their heads.
The Pikachu chuckled. “At least no one would have an issue finding you if they lost you because of your flashy colors.” She joked.
The Victini looked at the sky. “It's starting to get late,” He said.
The Pikachu nodded and the two began to leave. “W-wait!” I exclaimed.
They turned back. “Yes?” The Victini asked.
“Can I come with you?” I asked them.
“Isn't that kind of sudden? I mean we did only just meet.” The Pikachu said with a little concern.
“Well yeah... But I really have no one to go with... I don't even know where I'm at aside from the Pokemon world...” I told them.
“Ah, well fine then. We couldn't leave you here when you're defenseless. But if you're going to come with us, then we're going to need to know your name.” The Victini said to me.
“Trak.” I told them.
“Ah, well I am Blazer,” The Victini told me.
“And my name is Thunda,” The Pikachu told me.
“So, follow us Trak,” Blazer said, heading in a direction that seemed random to me. I followed along with Thunda.
About an hour passed before we arrived at the place they live at. And the best way I can describe the building as is a cabin. A pretty big one at that... at least at our size; they also seemed to live close to a town. It was rather strange if I'm being honest.
“Well, this is it,” Blazer told me, with the two leading me inside.
After heading inside, they took me to their kitchen. I found this very surreal. I mean, these Pokemon were living like humans usually do. As much as the Mystery Dungeon games make them live similar to people, it was never almost the same. Then again, I had yet to know the world I had actually ended up in.
Though while while being taken back by this and thinking about this, Thunda was cooking up something using berries. I was still in my own mind.
“Hey, you staring into space or something?” Thunda asked me.
That somehow snapped me out of it. “O-oh what? What is it?” I asked.
She chuckled. “The food is ready,” She said.
“Wait... huh?” I asked, not aware she was doing.
“Well I was cooking some food for us,” She said smiling.
“Ah,” I replied, figuring I got lost in thought.
Things pretty much flew by at that point. We ate the food that Thunda had made. Then they showed me more around the house. It was all sectioned on the one floor with a attic. They had two bedrooms. So from that I gathered that it's just the two of them. Blazer told me that I was to sleep with Thunda. And she seemed a bit excited about that for some reason. Though I didn't really understand why she was excited for it. And I was actually pretty tired by the time we reached there. Luckily it was the last room in the home.
“You seem pretty tried Trak,” Blazer noted, noticing how I was, in fact, showing signs of my tired state.
“N-no, I'm fine,” I said. Though yawning right sure didn't help my case.
“No need to lie about,” Blazer said. “After all, we are going to have to start training you tomorrow,”
“W-wait what?” I stuttered. “I'm not even used to my body yet!”
“I do understand that Trak...” Blazer started. “But this training will not only be helpful with getting you adjusted to your body, but also you're not going to be able to survive that long if we don't train you, especially with your small body,”
I sighed, giving up. “Yeah, you're right,” I said to him. “I shouldn't hide my body's want to sleep.”
I climbed into the bed, with Thunda laying down next to me. She then hugged me close to her and feel asleep pretty fast. She must have been fairly tired as well, though not showing it. Sighing, knowing that there wasn't much I could do, I fell asleep.
I seemed to awake in a weird misty field; I couldn't tell where I was at. there was a lake nearby with a forest in the distance. Looking around, I tried getting up, though was unable to move aside from turning my head.
Suddenly, a figure materialized over the lake and some of the mist vanished. It was a mew. It was certainly female from what I could tell. She, like Thunda, had some Anthropomorphic features about her too. She was also wearing a green dress with bits of yellow on it. She had a bow on her right ear, and ribbon wrapped along the end of her tail with two bells tied on it. It was hard to tell her eye color though.
“Greetings Trak,” She spoke to me.
Her voice sounded, well, rather young. Though, it also sounded formal in tone.
“Who are you?” I asked.
“My name is Amelia, I am the one who brought you to this world,” She told me. “Though there seems like there were a few issues with it.” She said with a nervous chuckle. I assumed she was referring to my size. “Well I know it's certainly odd, but I brought you here for a reason.” She said.
I was confused. “Wait, what reason could you need someone like me for?” I asked, very confused.
“I brought you here because my brother. He wishes to control this world.” She said.
“And how exactly am I going to stop him?” I asked, still rather confused.
“The journey you will go on, it will grant you powers that I have given you the ability to gain.” She said to me.
I looked even more confused. What was she talking about? “Wait... where am I?” I asked her, realizing I didn't ask about this earlier.
“This is in your mind, I was able to conjure up this dream for us to be able to speak in. As it is the easiest way for me to speak with you for the time being.” She told me.
Then she began to lose form. “Oh great, I must be running low on energy.” She said. “We'll have talk again tomorrow night.” She said with a sigh.
Before I could say another word, I began to lose consciousness, and then fell back into my slumber...
Meanwhile, in a dark castle, a robed Mewtwo stood on the balcony, looking over the world. “Hmph, what a useless barren land, but soon sister, I will be free.” He said, looking over the fields of dead plants.
He then looks up at the sky, as acid rain began to fall from the void that was the sky of the dimension he was trapped in. His sister had teleported both him and his castle here to stop him from taking over the world. Soon, a transmission came from the screen of a computer monitor. His sister did not know that he had been gathering technology to aid in his uprising... On the screen, appeared a Celebi; She was light and dark blue in her main colors. Purple was on the end of her antennas. She also wore a gray lab coat with a dark gray at the bottom and a yellow color on the sides and back of the collar. Her eyes were also a dull orange.
“Garith, are you in the room?” She asked.
The Mewtwo turned around. “Yes, I am Glace,” He said. His voice was void of emotion.
“Your sister has brought in another champion to combat you,” She said.
“Oh? Is that so, Glace? So another round is about to begin with me destroying them and her sealing me away again so she can find another. How amusing that she thinks that her tactic will be able to work after failing so many times.” He said, shaking his head.
“I ran the statistics report again and did some research on her new champion. And things are quiet interesting this time,” She spoke, holding a sheet of paper.
Garith looked intrigued. “Interesting how?” he asked.
“This new champion actually has a significant chance of defeating you,” She said
“Actually has a chance? How much?” He questioned.
“25 percent,” She bluntly told him.
Garith smirked at this. “Well well then, sounds like he isn't just going to die to the elements right from the start this time. So maybe we'll actually have a bit of enjoyment out of being able to crush the her new champion,” He said.
“Also, the machine I hid inside her took effect. The dark clone will be finished tomorrow,” She told him.
“Excellent. This should give me more fire power when taking on my sister after her champion is defeated.” Garith said with a smirk.
With that the transmission ended, and Garith turned his gaze towards the horizon. “Soon sister, this game will end...”
