A quick speed painting illustrating my reaction all I'm seeing and hearing about China's Olympics.
I'm tired of hearing about constant human-rights violations and it's protesters being silenced and acused of making the Olympics "political."
Well excuse me for being concerned about all the oppression, censorship, and murder that's been going on. It's all politics after all.

Go ahead and hide behind the athletes. HIDE, hide behind these games and lets all pretend this is some olympic-ideal world where everyone's happy and everything's beautifull all the damn time. Because our goverments surely aren't using this as a political tool aren't they? I say "governments" because my own country isn't getting away either so don't think I forgotten the pointless "political" junk the Bush admin. is responcible for!

But then again, what did people expect. Why did they allow China to host the Games in the first place. A little late to complain about it now...
And even worse, why has nobody ever given a damn until the Games? Thing have not suddenly started to go bad over there a few days ago...

well no, and It's probably a good thing that it's exposed, the fustrating part though is all the censoring going on about it. The sending of athletes home to speaking out, the relocation of Tibetians and Mongolians out of the city before the games started, amd suggestion of the games being more important then these kind of issues. It all just feels a little absurd.
