Some pulp-style illustration work I created for the Spontoon Island website with brush & ink on Bristol Board. I designed his costume as a cross between a Mongol warrior's armour, and a 1920's/30's Red Army soldier's uniform. There is some "Metal Hurlant" influence in this piece.
