Just a few miles west of the British Columbia, Alberta border we came up on a bunch of stopped cars, so we slowed down and came to a stop as well. This being the reason, much to our surprise. Having never seen a full grown wolf up close I was impressed by how tall he was, but he was also very lean. He didn't seem to mind us too much, and was just walking along on the shoulder. As I took the picture through my windshield it is a bit blurry, but I still had to post it. Awesome eyes.
