Very crappy picture, I know. I'm working on a lightbox to take master quality photos. In the meantime, I'm too proud of it to not show off what I can. I spent probably about a month working on it off and on, first building, then taking apart and primer-ing, then spraying the acrylic paint, then clear coating and washing the panel lines, finally adding the details and touch ups, then one more final clear coat.
More pics to follow once I get my lightbox finished.
The ∀ (Turn A) Gundam is an odd design. Famous Gundam anime director, Yoshiyuki Tomino, hired American Syd Mead to do the mecha designs for the show. Syd Mead is famous for his works on Alien and Tron. The show featured some of the most unique mecha designs in the history of Gundam. Yes, this one does have a mustache.

Not to mention...the only cockpit not in the torso or head section. IIRC...didn't one or two of the mechanical designers for Turn A also did work in Blade Runner as well?
Turn A is definately unique mobile suit...too bad the series doesn't have an English dub yet. While it isn't loaded with Gundams with guns every inch of the suit (like those in SEED:Destiny), it had a really good story behind it and a what if for a far future of the UC.

Yeah, Syd Mead did designs for Blade Runner also.
Yeah, it turns out that the Turn A, if wielded by a Newtype, is actually the most hax Gundam ever. Apparently it cannot be destroyed or damaged by normal weapons, and if damaged somehow, can regenerate itself, even the pilot (only if a Newtype is piloting it). It can warp any weapon it wants into it's chest cavity so long as the weapon is loaded into a specific off site transmitter. It can teleport small distances. It can warp it's beam rifle shots directly into an enemy cockpit. Combine all that with Moonlight Butterfly and you've got a Gundam worthy of the name "The White Devil." Remember, this was created to be the end all, and the Turn X was created to be it's fail-safe. However, since all Newtypes are long since gone in the Turn A era, it can never be used to it's full potential ever again.
This info was more or less taken from various publications from interviews with Tomino and other creators, as well as the side story mangas.
