This one was an experiment to see what I could accomplish with something I've never done.. window decal design! Born from a desire to mark my new Honda Fit, but unable to find any stickers that really impressed me, I decided to design my own.
The image was first drawn and inked on paper, than scanned into Adobe Illustrator to trace over using vectors. Once vectorized, I just had to decide how large I wanted it cut and what color. I managed to find a local sign shop willing to do a one-off run so I could gauge the results of my vectorizing, and was quite pleased with the result!

You have just put your claw on one of the big reasons why some artists have so much trouble getting something going. It costs a lot of money to get started and sometimes turns into a catch 22 situation ( You can't get started without money, you don't have enough money to get started. ) Good glass decal by the way, I like it.
I had to pay their minimum price for them to do it, but they did stay open an hour longer past closing so I could pick it up after work, so I don't mind. :) I'll definately be giving them some more business. To me it was worth it.. now I have a truly unique badge for my vehicle! I'll be looking into some designs for sale... perhaps a Profiles sticker? :)
*laughs* Fair enough... can't say I blame you for that one. ;) *wags*
Before this car I had an AT, and I decided I wanted to learn MT... plus it was a little cheaper, so all the more benefit :)
Mine's just a base model, but I've installed the remote entry unit myself (ordered the part online). I really wish I had gotten the Sport model now, because the benefit-to-cost ratio was really worth it now that I think about it. But you know what they say about hindsight... :P

Cupholders are a little on the small side, but other than that, it's just awesome having something to rest your right elbow on while driving long trips. :) Worth it in my opinion.
I love shifting myself, I've just always HATED the clutch pedal. Could never time it just right. The paddles give me the best of both worlds! :)

Hehe, cool. :) I'll have to think about the armrest when I find myself with some expendable income.
The only thing I have to complain about WRT manual transmission on the Fit is the clutch is both small and REALLLLLLY close to the brake... so sometimes I'll end up tapping/slamming the brakes when I try to shift. X3 But I've gotten used to it... and it's a small price to pay for such a great car at a great price! :)
