Sometimes you have to earn your wings...but yeah...growth often does seem to equal pain. More so, if you want something...and that something is worth having, then usually it comes down to a little bit of blood and pain and a sincere effort to reach your goals.

learning *ALLWAYS* equals pain. Where pain is loosely defined as not gaining as much as you could have had you done it another way. Pain can also mean ouch ouch pain.. but it's the way the brain works.. All learning experiences are defined by some kind of pain.

And I am amongst those who would find it sexy ^_^ Its something of a factor of trust,.. to trust someone enough to let them do something like that, that makes it beautiful :3

The symbolism behind the two characters alone is fantastic...and I have to agree with UV...it is the trust involved in such an act that makes it beautiful. Sexy? I wouldn't say so necessarily...but it is absolutely gorgeous.

The style change up is interesting too...might want to consider exploring it further.

Not a fetish I understand, even under the best of circumstances. Though what I can understand is the fascination with blood.

Blood is one of the most instincually stimulating substances two people can share. The unique colour, texture, taste and smell of blood touches the primal part of all of us, and with the human propensity to transmogrify one feeling into another (usually into something sexual), blood fetishes are something that's been around for eons (including vampirism and it's forms which are in pretty much every culture).

But the desire for sharp, cutting pain, is lost on me in pretty much all forms.

I love your work with inks in this. I would say that your experiment has yielded some very positive results.

Actually, what makes it very hot, is that once you shift your focus from the blood, the pain, the wings, the tribal, ritual tattoos, you notice the loincloth, which is the only barrier between him and her, in this so intimate position, so easy to break.

This image subconsciously appeal to an extremely common and extremely strong fetish - virginity/defloration.

There is something about this image I love, and it's not just the style. Its the trust, the way you've highlighted the blood. At first I didn't even notice the wings - not sure why but I saw it as more average and just sort of a fetish image. Then I noticed the wings and the whole meaning changed for me. It actually made me a little sad, the trust and the pain involved, but to reach something better and more beautiful through the endurance.

I think recent events in my life also helped make this image that more beautiful and meaningful to me, I just hope in a way we can all endure and eventually earn our wings.

I do like the feel of this style. I can't explain it well but the way it's cropped and the storytelling of it is very powerful and extremely interesting.

Like another poster, I at first didn't notice the wing already grown on your subject's left side, nor the wings on the one doing the service, they were so sneakily stylized. I was just being all fascinated by your lovely line-work and the trust in the piece.

Your line quality on this one is infallible. EXCELLENT job of grabbing the viewer by the face and forcibly dragging the eye all over...starting of course with that nice single splish of brighter-red.

This is one I could actually put up in my unicorn room (a.k.a. my living room) without any shame because of what everyone has said. The trust among the two is obviously great and she willingly accepts the pain for her own growth....its so beautiful I had a tear the first time i saw it.

I've often wondered if I would truly be willing to go under the knife for a pair of wings, even if I could do no more than glide...
