Today at work I was checking the outdoor trash barrels, and there was one with no bag in it, so I prepare to take it out of the metal frame to bag it, and something alive moves in it! I looked in and saw this rat! I have never seen a wild rat up close like this before (but I didn't get TOO close to it, and I definitely didn't want to touch it.) So I contacted the management about it right away, and they took care of it (I was told they released it back into the wild, most likely the woods behind the store.)

This is definitely something they didn't train me for on the job!
