This is my small blue elephant slide I had as a child but left in New Jersey. Its in half my childhood pictures. It was my favorite toy and a small source of trouble in my life:
*My little sister fell off it and broke her arm.
*I got bitten by a spider that lived in it and had to go to the hospital.
*A rat jumped out of the hole in the middle and on my face.
*My neighbor had us watch her chickens one day and I foolishly tipped it over and smashed her favorite rooster.
*My father twisted his ankle when he tripped over it.
*When we put it in the moving truck, it smashed my mom's dresser mirror. That's when we decided to leave it, To my dismay.
I was too big for it anyway....

Cursed blue elephant comes alive every night and kills/eat people. Then comes back to the playground and remains still for the day.
Little girl discovers clues (blood, body parts) and tries to alert her parents, but nobody believes her. Every mention of the murderous blue monster is dismissed as a figment of her overactive imagination.
Knowing his secret is discovered, the elephant plans to kill her next...
She is home alone, her parents are out. She looks out the window and sees the plastic monster, waiting for nightfall to come alive.
The sun is setting...
