So I've had him since he was first released, I've painted 4 other of him but this one is MINE!!!
Kaldor Draigo, Supreme Grand Master of the Grey Knights, Chapter 666 of the Adeptus Astartes.
This was three days of absolute fun. I haven't painted my Grey Knights in so long I thought I'd forgotten my old technique, but Draigo here came out better than expected. I really like how the cloak and sword came out.
Love him or Hate him, Kaldor Draigo is certainly one of the most interesting characters in Warhammer 40'000, especially after the blow he gave to Azrael during the Pandorax campaign.

Really? I've run the new Logan a few times now and find him every bit as powerful as Draigo. The added bonus of being able to take an armour 13 chariot that has a 4+ invulnerable save, ignores penetrating hits and gives him 4 extra strength 5 rending sttacks, is just that. A huge bonus.
I guess it's down to how you use him. I either have him spear head a flank charge with a unit or two of thunder wolves with the chariot, or elite/character unit hunter with a nice big unit of Wolf Guard terminators to soften up other targets of opportunity.

Draigo is str 7 at initiative. Logan can be str 6 ap 3 at initiative 5, or str 8 ap 2 at initiative 1. Personally I think Logan is more versitile.
Logan on sled can still get cover saves when with a big enough unit, hence thunder wolves as mobile flank cover that keeps up with him. He doesn't need to join them, though his 4+ invuln does a lot for the sled too.

I caught a lot of flak over the years for my BA army not having a helmetless guy.
Who goes into battle where people are throwing around 30+mm rounds from their BASIC COMBAT "RIFLE" like it's nobody's business.
Not to mention shuriken, lasers, molecular destabilizing beams, and all manner of whatsits flying through the air.
