okay, I thiiink this is the last of the old uploads from me. it'll be newer works from here on out.
this was a really, really overdue commission for
, I thiiink I started the sketch back in 2011? I ended up having to recolor it entirely because my methods changed over the years, so it's p. much 2011 sketchwork with 2013 coloring on it, hahaha.
I'd say I never want to draw another ruined city again, but I actually like drawing buildings, so who knows- maybe a YCH auction for something similar?

it was definitely a labor of love, hahaha. but I like drawing lots of details, it lets me have fun with creating my own designs and adding in little easter eggs here and there. this one in particular, did take awhile and there were many times where I was frustrated! I think I actually stopped working on it for half a year because it was just making my head hurt with all of those details. D=
but it was a good learning experience and I picked up a bunch of things to help me out for future images like this.

I can not tell you how many times I've looked at this piece, and wished I could commission you for something set in a world similar to this. I have a really hard time portraying the grungy, run down environments, but they're some of my favorites visually, and this one came out very well!
