Depends on the vibes the human gives him. If they're disrespectful or mean he just leaves them where they are. The only time he'd hit someone is if they threatened him or XR-8 - or an innocent bystander.

In all seriousness, NS-6 is very hardy - as is XR-8, though likely to a lesser extent - but he still can be damaged by certain weapons and types of force. Given how forceful and opportunistic aggressive humans can be, NS-6 doesn't take chances with them. He's disables first and kills as a last resort.
