Image 2 of 2.
Opposite side view.
I have a 5.56nato version of this minus the ACOG, side rails, cheek rest, and 20rnd paired magazines, but probably won't post it today.
So far i've modeled essentially 3 different guns using the same body, SMG (9mm/5.7mm), Battle Rifle/DMR (7.62nato), and the unposted Combat Rirlfe/Run-of-the-mill Assault Rifle (5.56nato). Will probably try and produce something of a sniper rifle to go along with this but in all likelihood it won't be from the use of this body.
Again, platform sports a pair of 20rnd magazines, acog sight, cheek rest, and thats about it i think.

I've been tinkering with the pistol grip for a while, constantly a work in progress to get it to look just right. As for the mag well, once its got a mag in it it does have just about a hairs bredth between the end of the pistol grip and the magazine itself, can probably pull it back a couple notchs. As is the whole thing from end to end is 2'6 1/2", another half inch or so probably won't hurt it just to pull it all back and make it a more comfy fit.
Sounds pretty good :) One more suggestion would be to move the charging handle from the rear right of the receiver to the front left of the fore-grip; it's more efficient and faster to charge the rifle with the supporting hand as opposed to taking your hand off the pistol grip, charging the weapon and then repositioning your hand on the pistol grip.
