This is a handmade leather mask, inspired by the smallest falcon in North America: the American Kestrel! Though they may be small, they still live up to their bird of prey nature and are fierce hunters. You may have seen these little jewels along power lines overlooking fields, or hovering in place in their trademark way, waiting for the perfect moment to strike! This mask is small and cute like its namesake, but is also carefully painted to capture not only the bold colors, but the subtle ones as well. This mask is comfortable and easy to wear, adjusting with a draw string cord lock in the back. Hand-formed tooling leather, painted with acrylics, sealed with an acrylic top-coat.
