With all the crappy stories coming out of the NFL these days, it was really nice to hear something like this. Second year player Devon Still's four year old daughter is going through chemotherapy with pediatric cancer. The Bengals signed Still to their practice squad so that he could remain with the team's health insurance. On top of that, they are selling his #75 jersey, something unusual for a practice squad member (he's since made the active roster) with proceeds going to research and awareness of pediatric cancer. Coach Payton of the Saints bought 100 jerseys the day this was announced...just a good story. I hope it keeps up, and best wishes to the Still family.

Awwwww. That's actually really sweet and cool. That they cared enough about him and his family to wrangle it so he could keep his insurance so his little girl can get her treatments and then selling jerseys to raise money for helping other kids.
I would seriously rather hear about the good things going on than all of the bad stuff. The media just likes to sensationalize everything. :P
(And I hope his little gal starts feeling better soon! She'll probably never see this, but YOU GO GIRL! :) Whoop that cancer!)
