My late-wife's favorite bird was the crow...After she died she comes to me when I'm asleep or deep in thought as a crow and depicts me as a wolf...This picture touched me deeply...EVERY time I go somewhere now, I am met by one or more crows...

Ya know this reminds me of the semi-symbiotic relationship that Coyotes have with Ravens/Crows, and often with Badgers too.

J.F. Dobie describes this in his 1947 book The Voice of the Coyote a wonderful book if you can find it!
