Alright, let's start things off with something mild
This was a picture I did a while back, intended to be updated the day I would swear my oath on defending finland, it's rights, etc.
It never came to that, since (tada) I was kicked out for having bad knees. Too bad, but hell, no reason not to update the picture, right? :3
Anyway, I suppose you can tell what's going on. Again, a LOT of symbolism and stuff going on in this picture, so keep your eyes open and speculate X3

Let me see if I can find some of the symbolism...
The sun is just above the tower, suggesting a dawn of... something :S
Antar holds his index finger and middle finger up, maybe a "peace" sign or something else. I've seen a similar gesture made by saints in Christian tales and pictures, not sure what it means though.
The queen's (she is a queen, right?) right arm is encased in armor while the left is not. Why this is, I don't know. My best guess would be some gesture of strength.
Her eyes are also white and blue, like the Finnish flag.
The sky is sort of pink-ish and in sailor lore, if the sky is pink by day, it means a storm is brewing, if a pink sky by night, it means good weather ahead.
The sword that is being used is a masonic sword, a weapon given in the 18th and 19th century as an award for merit. It's also glowing, but again, I'm not sure why.
The lion is a symbol for courage, so that might have something to do with the picture.
A small grey spot is on the flag, not sure if that's symbolic or just a small mistake.
There, I've counted up everything I could find on the picture.
P.s. Nice picture, dude

Hmmmm, very good, very good =^-^=
The sun, the dawn, would symbolize my stepping into a new era of my life, or a new step in my life.
The middle and index finger is used as a symbol for truth, because when you swear the oath you have to hold up those two fingers to symbolize that you're swearing on yourself...(can#t really explain ti better, but I think you get the point)
Yeah, she's a queen and yes, her arm is encased in armor to symbolize the watching strong hand of the nation, so technically, the thing I would have become a part of, if they had kept me in the army X3
Eyes were unintentional, but yes, that's a good point there.
The sky is also a good point, but I wasn't actually trying either of the points, though you might argue, that it's for the trouble that becoming a soldier brings with it X3
I have to admit, I don#t quite understand your point on the sword, but that's just cuz I'm no native speaker X3
The lion is the animal depicted on the coat of arms of finland, so I chose it for that, and yes, it stands for courage and royalty.
The grey spot is a mistake X3
Thank you very much =^-^=

Ikävä kuulla, että et päässy snipuksi ja vielä ikävämpää kuulla, että sinut heivattiin ulos.

To mean it does not matter that you are not still in. Your heart and soul stood ready in troubled times to me thats enough to call you comrad. Tis a shame realy it would have been a ood day if ever met ya through NATO.
I am impressed with the helmet design and the digigrade combat boots. Very functional adaptations. I'm just glad I'm not the supply sergeant for an anthro company. I can just see it now, "You want me to stock how many types of gasmasks?"

Aye, tis the truth there.
Come to think of it there were mask designs for dogs and horses in WWII. I wonder how they attained a positive seal.
You're armor designs are excellent. I almost think I'd have an easier time at my shop with that arm on the queen there than in some of my attempts to reverse engineer some museum photos.
If you ever find yourself in need of commission work I'd be honored to hang your art on my walls.
