Xyk meets some burrowing owls! Determined to unravel the meaning behind their odd dancing, he decides to imitate them for awhile. And as any coyote would, he puts on quite a show! One of the owls, however, is clearly not impressed…

Kippurable simply floored me with this commission. Every inch of the piece was crafted with such intricate and caring detail, and I just can’t get enough of her distinctive fur texturing technique. She completely captured the essence of the scene and the idea behind it.
