So, keeping with the “alien babe-ship” that’s been going around a few of my friends' Tumblrs, I thought I’d contribute one such babe myself: Neph, the grim! Part of a race of exoskeletal beings, Neph Thys just happened to get bored of life on her planet one day and hitched a ride on the next spaceship out of there, bumming around from one spaceport to another before finally falling in with her current crew.

She manages the environmental and life support systems on the ship - that’s a fancy way to say, “garbage burner and air conditioner repairgrim.” She’s pretty impatient with anyone who makes stupid decisions, and often makes snippy remarks to let them know.
