Millie (Millenium) named by a Star Wars fan, another of the New Zealand falcons I had the pleasure of meeting at Wingspan. She's a bit of a drama queen, according to her trainer.
She makes a performance when she doesn't get food or when she has to go back to the aviary.
On her flights, rather than chase the lure straight away, she takes leisurely flights, often out of sight of the falconer behind the aviary.
Apparently she's also hunted ducks rather than chase lures, and has caught eleven ducks so far on her display flights.
