Two thousand years ago Alexander’s husband and closest friend, Brutis Gorath, was slain by a group of bandits while Alexander was away. Upon returning, Alexander found Brutis dead with thirty arrows in his chest and a sword in his back. Alexander cried for hours before burying Brutis in a field of flowers nearby and slaughtering every single bandit that had been involved.

Two thousand years later, Brutis was returned by the Selenveen Necromancer, Ragnor as Ragnor’s right hand. Upon learning of this, Alexander attacked Ragnor out of anger but was stopped when Brutis attacked him. In the fight, Alexander was to grief struck to fight back so instead he ran away from the fight, Ragnor and Brutis didn’t pursue Alexander.

After that fight, Alexander became paralyzed with grief and depression. During the fight, Brutis had said that he had never loved Alexander and that he hated him. However this was false but that was unknown to Alexander.

Unable to think properly, Alexander broke down in an emotional fit for several weeks until Kilana went and faced Brutis for Alexander. She was unable to defeat Brutis but instead she defeated Ragnor and slew him. However this did not free Brutis of Ragnor’s control. Unable to defeat Brutis, as he was too strong for Kilana, she fled the battle and returned to Alexander and gave him the news.

Returned Brutis is more of a zombified version of the original Brutis just with his typical broadsword and metal knight shield. Alexander is unable to defeat Returned Brutis due to the emotional turmoil he feels when facing him, thus he cannot fight Returned Brutis whatsoever.

So far no one has defeated Returned Brutis or has come close but he’s no threat to Creation, at least not a major one.

Returned Brutis usually wears the original Brutis’s Knight armor at all times along with his broadsword and metal knight shield. The bones on his muzzle are visible as are his left leg bones and right arm bones and the bones in his tail. He has no eyes, as his eye sockets are empty. Brutis is also a tiger.
