In Creation, Magi are not uncommon in Purgatory but there are very few of them that exist anymore. The most famous of them is Arch-Magi Vindictus Selenveen, one of twenty royal Selenveen survivors. Vindictus is the strongest of the Magi and the wisest and oldest. He’s lived for <REDACTED> years, teaching others the magical arts at his magic school in Venathalon.

Vindictus is the only other Selenveen who is neither of fur nor scales. He is in fact, an elf. He has silvery hair and blue eyes with soft smooth white skin. He has no beard as one would expect but elven markings are on his face. He can usually be seen wearing a robe with arcane glyphs near the bottom of it, at the end of the sleeves and on the robe’s hood. Like wise, he always has his staff with him, which was made from the oldest tree in Purgatory. At the top of the staff sits an Ancient Veenian crystal that acts as a channeler for his powers. Without his staff, he cannot cast his more powerful spells.

Back when the Selenveens were still alive, Vindictus was the Head Magi and governed over all forms of magic in the ancient Selenveen city. He was also the only other person that could lay eyes upon the ‘Tome Of Infinity’, which was a book that could foresee every major event in time up until Creation’s very end.

Despite his wise nature, Vindictus is very arrogant and thick headed most of the time. However, he does have a soft spot for children and other Magi. When it comes to forms of magic, Vindictus is hard to convince and generally will not listen to ideas that are not well thought out. This has gotten him to trouble many, many times but each time he has proven himself that he truly is the strongest Magi in Creation.

Aside from his birth name which is Vindictus, he has another name given to him by the Purgatorial elves. This name is Faelar and he is more commonly known by this name than his birth name. Due to that, he will generally not respond when called by his birth name. The only exception to this is when a close friend calls him by his birth name.

As for his powers, Vindictus has the power to control the elements, summon elemental golems and draw power from the Arcane. He also has the power of Telekinesis and Telepathy which makes him the only other Selenveen with these two unique powers.
