The commissioner for this tail started out asking for white scales, and here it is!

More seriously, I've had these white painted scales for some time, but hadn't really used them in much. The manufacturer says that it's a 7-layer automotive paint, but I'm still kind of suspicious of paints scratching over time, and I don't especially like selling things that I'm not completely confident in. But I mailed the commissioner some of the scales to see if she thought they were good, and she was happy with their durability, so I proceeded with it.

The tail is a short one, measuring in at 24 inches long and weighing 2 lbs 4 oz. It also has a line of spikes down the spine.
