yea !!! idk what to name them yet !!!

this ref is basically just me tryin to figure out all the basic physical traits of these things. for more info, keep reading !!

the initial idea was to combine angelic & demonic qualities to create some sort of hybrid, but as i conceptualized them, they just sort of became their own thing.
they're elemental (fire, earth, water, etc) beings, born from a combination of their element and pure cosmic energy (or something vague and mystical like that). whatever element they were born from, they can control through some kind of magic. elements are not just restricted to the usual earth, fire, air, and water. others include lightning, plants, magma, light, darkness, ice, metal, etc., etc. since they prefer to live in environments where their birth element is in abundance, their color scheme usually matches said element/environment. for example, fire elementals are usually made up of reds and oranges and ice elementals are usually made up of pale blues and whites, etc. some have elements that make them come in a variety of colors, like earth, plant, or metal.
they have wings so they can fly, although they don't partcularly need to. it's just kind of a special bonus, i guess lol
the glowy bits, as said, glow more with high emotion, but also when they use their magic !!
antisocial by nature, they never live in groups. however, there are rare occasions where one can make friends with another, but yea this hardly ever happens.
as they are beings of pure energy, their lifespan is infinite.
since they are not born through reproduction, they have no genitalia or sex organs. gender is based completely on what they identify as (although, the vast majority don't identify as anything, seeing as gender is an alien concept to them).

umm i think that's pretty much it i can't rly think of anything else to say about them.. i'm thinking of making adoptables of them at some point.. would anyone be interested ???? :o
