Hmm, out of curiosity, how are you liking DCC? I'm still in D(inosaur) C(ountry) on my layout due to lack of funds, and have been trying to decide if it is worth the investment to switch over when I only have a handful of locomotives...

If you like operating vs. just sittin back and watching it run around, then DCC is the way to go. In this pic, in the wood box, I've included a USB interface which allows me to also use my computer to program and control my trains and layout accessories through the free program 'JMRI'.
And while your loco stud is still low in number is the time to decide. Bachman On30 should come with decoders factory installed.
